Pull up a chair.

The pre-order price for The Cabins of Wilsonia expired. The new price is $86, which includes tax and mailing (within the USA). If you are someone I see regularly, deduct $5 because instead of putting it in a fancy-pants box and taking it to the Post Office, I’ll simply place it in your hands.

This button will take you to Paypal. Or, if you prefer, you can write an old-fashioned check, put it in an old-fashioned envelope, address to my old fashioned P.O. Box, and put an old-fashioned stamp on it. That’s P.O. Box 311, Three Rivers, CA 93271

And no, I still don’t know when to expect the books! Thanks for asking, and thank you for your patience. I could use a little bit of that myself.

What neat shadows from the chairs, Jana. They strike me as relaxing. 🙂

Re your comment on my post “You With Your Foot in Two Worlds,” my dad said that because he was dealing with surprise symptoms that concerned us. Since then he has been hospitalized and diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It has taken us all by surprise, and we are processing it, spending days in the hospital and figuring it out. Nonetheless, we are seeing God’s kind hand throughout in little ways of kindness and caring for us all. He is a sweet God, and is holding us through this scary time.

Wow, I am so sorry about your dad’s sudden departure and death. I can’t imagine what you must have gone through and are still going through with his loss.

Grieving with you tonight, my friend,

Oh Jennifer, if I could do something to spare you the road ahead, I would. I’m praying for healing for your Dad. Enjoy every single second you have with him. Still, it is never enough. . . Thank you for your kind words.

I chose that photo because the thought of sitting in those old fashioned chairs and bouncing a little bit gave me a tiny bit of happiness in the midst of some anxiety about the upcoming book and the printer’s silence.
